Pensioner, 70, robbed by teenage thugs in West Yorkshire cemetery

A pensioner was robbed in broad daylight by two youths in a cemetery in Almondbury.

The 70-year-old was approached in the graveyard off Highlands Avenue on Monday afternoon.

The pair knocked her over and stole her handbag, containing personal items and a mobile phone. She was left uninjured, but shaken.

They are thought to be about 13 or 14 years old - one was wearing a dark hoodie with the hood up and the other a red and white hooded top.

Police think there may have been a dog walker in the area at the time of the incident, who may have seen the suspects leaving the area.
