Pedestrian rushed to hospital after crash outside Leeds GP surgery

A pedestrian has been rushed to hospital after being involved in a collision with a car outside a GP surgery in Leeds.

The crash happened outside Meanwood Health Centre, on Meanwood Road, at around 3.30pm today (Tuesday).

Police said a woman - aged in her 60s - was hurt in the collision and taken to hospital by ambulance.

The crash involved a silver Mercedes SLK and a second unknown car.

A road closure has been in place on Meanwood Road and bus users and motorists are being warned to expect delays.
