Pedestrian, 30, and scooter rider in hospital after collision in Leeds

A pedestrian and scooter rider are in hospital after a crash in Leeds.

The collision happened on the Cross Gates Road eastbound carriageway, close to Hawkhill Avenue, Crossgates, on Friday and involved a Kymco Agility 125cc scooter.

Police said the scooter was in collision with a 30-year-old woman who was using a pelican crossing.

The pedestrian and the rider, 22, were both taken to hospital with serious injuries where they remain today (Monday).

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
