The UK’s leading organic children’s clothing brand, Frugi, has opened a pop-up store in Trinity Leeds.
The shop, located at the Bond Street entrance near Boots, will be open until December 29 and gives shoppers the chance to experience quality, Danish-inspired designs made from organic cotton or recycled materials.
Jenni Bolton, who led the design team for Frugi AW18, said: “The collection is all about interpreting the magic of Hygge and using Scandi inspired colour palettes and new textures to create the cosiest of clothing to embody the snug and comforting feeling of Hygge. Gorgeous knits and fun seasonal characters are prominent, with subtle Scandi inspired tones creating a truly warm and cosy feel.”
The Lost Kingdom collection is for newborns to 10 year olds and includes the tough waterproof Puddle Buster and Explorer range of outerwear. The coordinating coat, trousers and wellington boots are made from 100 per cent recycled polyester, uniquely manufactured from recycled plastic bottles. Since the launch, enough coats have been sold to account for half a million recycled plastic bottles.
Not forgetting Christmas shoppers in Leeds, visitors can select from the limited edition festive Frugi collection, including the popular Frugi skater dress and new to 2018 Santa sacks, reindeer hats and bibs, and tops, trousers and baby grows adorned with festive appliques. Finally, everyone who visits the store can enter into a weekly prize draw to win a £60 Frugi voucher, simply by tagging themselves with #FrugiLovesLeeds in the shop.
