Earlier this week the Yorkshire Evening Post warned of a sense of deja vu as Storm Ciara battered the city leaving many families and businesses fearful their homes, properties and memories would be once again destroyed by filthy flood water.

Last week Storm Ciara brought the city to the verge of flooding - and quite frankly we were lucky not to see a repeat of the disastrous Boxing Day floods of 2015.
