Many people will be struggling with their mental health– and many of those will be suffering in silence.

So that is why initiatives like Abbie Williams’s Letters of Hope are so important to spread a little kindness to show people in their darkest hours that there are those who will go out of their way to make a difference to others.

This newspaper has long campaigned on the issue of spreading the word about mental health as part of our ongoing #speakyourmind campaign.

And we commend people like Abbie who are doing their best to push that message out as far and as wide as possible.
