With many people working from home, questions undoubtedly rise about what the future would hold for the city centre, our jewel in Leeds’ crown.

Businesses have felt the impact of the drop in footfall into the centre - and that has been further heightened during the latest national lockdown.

So amid the storm clouds it is a positive sign for the recovery of Leeds post-pandemic.

The site, which has seen law firm DLA Piper sign a deal for more than 80,000 sq ft of prime office space, provides a timely reminder that Leeds is open for business, as 600 staff look set to move into their new home in 2024.

And we can only hope that this acts as a catalyst to give our city centre the bounce back it needs and deserves.
