Leeds is renowned for its generosity of spirit and the city’s response to the pandemic has demonstrated its great resilience in the face of adversity.

As we close the door on an unprecedented year, we look to 2021 as a year of hope that the end of this crisis could be in sight.

But as we search for reasons to be hopeful, there are many charities and organisations left facing an uncertain future.

Coronavirus has seen their traditional fundraising activities all but disappear, and now they are looking to new ways to raise money to sustain their activities.

Today the team behind Zero Waste Leeds is urging people to give back to their city through its new #GiveLeeds platform.

It enables donations to go straight to the charities and organisations that have made a difference in a year like never before.
