This review was to be lead by Honorary Alderwoman Alison Lowe. Apparently Alison Lowe would also be interested to hear of any individuals that are noticeably absent.

However, a review will not be recommending individuals to be honoured. Obviously the purpose of this review is for the future so that the system is seen to be socially acceptable to one and all.

Now here’s the problem. Leeds City Council would, it would appear, prefer to demolish our ‘green field statue’ to be replaced by housing.

If the council’s review of statues in Leeds is to have any credibility look at the 5,000 plus signatures of people who want the ‘green field’ that would benefit all age groups for years to come.

Sometimes we all are prone to get things wrong, the brave are the ones who admit they have. So just look in the mirror Leeds City Council and represent the people of Leeds who you are in office to represent.
