Their voices must be heard as they still have real concerns over their futures.

Despite the Government announcing a humiliating U-turn, which will now see exams marked on teachers’ predictions rather than a controversial algorithm, young people are in limbo.

The handling of the situation has been shambolic.

Young people are our future - but their lives have been placed on the line.

They should be nurtured and supported but now they face a real injustice at one of the most stressful times of their lives so far.

Lessons need to be learned from this fiasco - and someone needs to be held accountable for failing our young people at the first hurdle.
