One hour delays on buses and roads across Leeds due to severe congestion

There are delays of up to an hour on buses across Leeds tonight due to heavy traffic.

Both motorists and bus users have been warned about severe congestion across the city.

There are also reports of an incident on the Stanningley Bypass heading into Leeds.

The following bus services are affected:

1, 6, 28, 29, 97, X84., X85, 16, 42, 49, 50, 50A

A spokesman said: "Leeds Delays of up to 1 hour to services operating on Headingley Lane and on Beckett Street due to heavy congestion (traffic at standstill)"
