HERS was the name swamping social media after bizarre YouTube videos sparked IS ‘kidnap’ fears among worried fans.
The teen in question is in fact a leading fashion vlogger, reportedly ‘safe and well’ in the wake of #savemarinajoyce hashtag trending worldwide.
Followers feared for the 19 year-old Londoner’s safety after hearing her whisper “help me” during one video.
Police, inundated by calls from concerned fans amid the online storm, performed a welfare check to confirm her safety.
Friday’s Date Outfit Ideas video, showcasing party clothes and shared here, appears to include Marina whisper for help.
Scores of followers called cops, fearing the worst after she appeared distracted, wide-eyed and nervous on her 700,000 subscription YouTube channel.
One fan claimed it appeared someone was forcing her to make the fashion video.
Worries increased with a bizarre message from Marina’s Twitter account asking followers to meet in Bethnal Green at 6.30am today.
An earlier post from the account, that boasts 150,000-plus followers, read: “If you want to PARTTEEEYY with me? Tweet me now if you wanna party with me :D ill put details out for where to meet soon for the day.”
The supposed meeting, streamed on Periscope under the title ‘Live from Bethnal Green #savemarinajoyce’, showed a black screen with occasional banging in the background.
A Met Police spokesman said: “Officers have visited YouTube user Marina Joyce. She is safe and well.
Entertainment network Vine star Daz Black claimed he had spoken to Marina and confirmed ‘she is not in any danger’.
He said: “I have just spoken with Marina Joyce. Do not worry guys she is not in any danger and I’m even meeting up with her to collab and chat.
“Please do not go to Marinas meet up! Stay well clear and do not got to this meet up. Let police handle this,” he advised.
