Video: Police cars dispatched in bizarre operation through a housing estate – to chase after a SHETLAND PONY

Have your say

Sussex Police sent four squad cars to rein in the tiny horse that was seen running through an estate.

But the miniature pony managed to give them the slip and escaped – before finally being cornered in a garden. The pony was seen running loose in Crawley, West Sussex, on Sunday afternoon. Sussex Police Media Relations Officer Sam Satchell said: “Minutes later, witnesses reported seeing a pony – believed to be the same animal – travelling on the A2011 Crawley Avenue towards Hazelwick Roundabout.”
