Video: Pig walks on front hooves after he was born without hind legs

Have your say

An adorable miniature pig born with no hind legs has learned how to walk on its front trotters - and now has a tiny WHEELCHAIR to get around.

Miracle the pint-sized porker taught himself to ‘handstand’ walk after being born with deformed stumps for rear legs. His careers at Colorado Cutie Pigs in the US have now bought him a tiny wheeled frame which straps onto his body and allows Miracle to pull himself along. A spokesperson for the centre said: “We didn’t think he would live as moms usually abandon the ‘sick’ ones. “Babe did not though. We watched as he figured out how to walk on his front legs in a matter of a few minutes. He’s a strong little guy.”

Leeds Industrial Museum in Armley will be brimming with excitement on August 1 when, for the first time ever, the historic site plays host to none other than the Yorkshire Open Hat Throwing Championships, the brainchild of Yorkshire-based poet Glyn Watkins. picture Tony Johnson.
