Have your say

The amazing footage, filmed by a driver on his dashboard camera, shows a bright light falling from the sky before seemingly exploding and lighting up the skies for a few seconds on Monday night.

Police were inundated with calls with people reporting seeing a blue, white or green light, and some saying they also heard a rumbling sound. There is speculation it could have been a meteor or may have been a sonic boom. And the Met Office ruled out a “weather-related” phenomenon as there were no thunder storms recorded on Monday night.
