A pair of giant lobsters have clawed their way onto the
headland of a historic fishing village.
These stunning pictures show
the lobsters, which have been constructed out of wire and then
galvanised and powder-coated, standing claws at the ready about the
village of Staithes, North Yorks. The nine-foot-high lobsters are the
work of Whitby, North Yorks., sculptor Emma Stothard and were craned
into place for this year’s Staithes Festival of Heritage and Arts.
