LUXURY fashion brands are flocking to Leeds right now.
Call it the Victoria Gate effect, or the light at the end of the recession tunnel, but whatever the reason, we’re pretty pleased about it.
First of all, fashion brand Sandro is snapping up a site at The Victoria Quarter.
The high-end brand is on sale at hundreds of department stores across the world (including Harvey Nichols and Selfridges) but is making a big leap by investing in its very own store right here in Leeds.
Plus luxury maternity brand Séraphine has just opened its first store outside of London at the Victoria Quarter too.
The brand is already a firm favourite with the Duchess of Cambridge as well as Jessica Alba and Gwen Stefani, so it’s safe to say it’s probably going to do well.
Centre manager Nicola Hanson, said: “Alongside our other recent new addition, Cutler and Gross, Séraphine will continue to enable us to grow our luxury shopping offering.”
We also heard there may be some other big announcements soon, so watch this space fashionistas, as there may well be more exciting news in the pipeline!
