The Living Room closed at the beginning of April and the company behind it – Stonegate Pub Ltd – wasted no time in re-branding and refurbishing the site.

Now, after a bit of a facelift, the venue is almost ready to be revealed.

The decor is more modern, with quirky artwork and bright furniture, and the star of the cocktail menu has been announced as the Fizz Bowl, with a bottle of Prosecco and fruit liqueurs and garnishes for customers to create their own combinations.

General manager Stella McKevitt said: “After months of planning, this is exactly what Greek Street needed to re-invigorate it back to its former glory.”

The bar will also serve wine, cider and world beers as well as salads, steaks, burgers and desserts.

The VIP launch will be held next week, and City Buzz will be there to give you all the gossip.
