IF YOU’VE walked down Boar Lane recently you may have noticed a couple of cool new restaurants are about to join the Leeds line-up.
One of these new additions to the city’s dining scene will be Pieminister.
As City Buzz previously reported, the family-run gourmet pie company will open its biggest restaurant yet – at the former Oxfam shop on Duncan Street.
The site just opposite the Corn Exchange will be the company’s 10th outlet and will be set over two floors, with an indoor ‘shed’ area as well.
With plenty of award-winning pies as well as craft beers, ciders and cocktails on offer, we have been eagerly awaiting its opening day – and we can now reveal the restaurant is set to open to the public on Monday, May 11.
City Buzz will get a sneak peek of the restaurant the week beforehand to bring you all the gossip, plus an interview with the people behind the new venture.
You may have noticed the Five Guys restaurant next door is well under way and will open soon as well. With Red’s True BBQ across the road, this could be the start of a new dining destination.
