A popular bar in Chapel Allerton is set for a full revamp this month.

Zed Bar on Stainbeck Lane is preparing for a makeover and re-brand to become new bar and kitchen Kith & Kin.
The new-look bar will be unveiled in early September, boasting an outside area with heated terrace and retractable awning.

Martin Wolstencroft, MD of bar chain Arc Inspirations, said: “We have thought long and hard about the revamp of Zed – it was one of the first bars we opened outside of Headingley and plays an important role in our history and heritage.”

He aded: “That said, we have worked hard with our architects and designers to create something totally new and unique to the area, whilst ensuring Kith & Kin will offer a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere, offering exceptional food and drinks.”

Zed Bar will close on August 17 to complete the transformation.
