If you go down to the woods today you may be in for a big surprise - not teddy bears, but a two metre tall animatronic dragon, complete with a ferocious roar.

The latex creature has taken up home at the Enchanted Forest at Wetherby’s Stockeld Park in readiness for St George’s Day on April 23.

The dragon’s head and wings move as it roars, and the installation is the latest addition to the forest’s collection of sights, sounds and sculptures. To ensure the dragon is ready to meet visitors this Easter, the Park is asking people to come up with the best suggestions for its name. To enter visit www.stockeldpark.co.u
