A popular independent arts space in north Leeds is celebrating its tenth anniversary with a gig by the local band who played on its opening night.
Seven in Chapel Allerton provides a 100-seat venue for film, theatre, dance, music, words and comedy, alongside a café bar. To mark a decade since it first opened, there will be celebratory birthday events held at the Harrogate Road venue this weekend.
There will be live music in the bar on Friday from 7pm, and on Saturday a return for the Soul Surgeons, a nine-piece band of local musicians who played at Seven’s opening in 2007.
The band promise a “lively, soulful mix of music...guaranteed to get even the most reluctant dancers on to the dance floor”.
