Noel Gallagher set for Leeds date

One of Britain’s most successful and acclaimed songwriters Noel Gallagher is to perform in Leeds next year.

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds have announced they will be heading to first direct arena next year, with special guests Super Furry Animals, on Wednesday 27 April. He will be performing songs from his solo career and his former band Oasis.

The news came just hours after Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds were honoured with the reader voted Q Award for Best Album. adding to Noel’s long list of accolades including the Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Song Collection.

Tickets go on sale at 9am this Friday.

NEWSUBSTANCE created SPIRIT, a structure that will house 3,000 LED lights, use 10km of coloured string, it is 5 metres above the concourse and overall span is 24m x 14m.
