Next stop for Leeds health campervan

A CAMPERVAN tour offering mental health and wellbeing support to young people across Leeds is preparing for its next stop.

‘Dougal’, online support service MindMate’s 1970s VW campervan, made its first stop at Kirkstall Festival on Saturday, and will be at Asda Killingbeck tomorrow and on Briggate in the city centre on Friday.

Dr Jane Mischenko, commissioning lead for Children and Maternity Services at NHS Leeds Clinical Commissioning Group, said: ““We want young people in Leeds to know that the resources are in place to help them understand how they’re feeling, no matter how big or small they may feel the problem is.”
