Newborn piglets at Leeds Home Farm

Have your say

A popular farm in Leeds has welcomed six little piglets to its numbers this month.

Pippa the Tamworth sow gave birth to the cross-bred piglets, pictured above, at Home Farm on November 9, which is located at Temple Newsam House, and the new additions have quickly found their feet.

They are now strong enough to wobble about in their pen, which is located in the stable.

With the festive season just around the corner, the arrival of the piglets has already proved to be a very popular early Christmas present for staff and visitors to Home Farm.

The attraction, which is a popular family destination, boasts more than 400 sheep, pigs, poultry and goats, and an interesting mixture of recreated workshops and exhibitions.
