The new complex features a new dining area and reception, plus five treatment rooms and a full range of Espa treatments.

Director of the Waterton Park Hotel, Debbie Taylor, said: “This is a real statement of intent for the hotel – not just the hundreds of thousands of pounds of investment, but also in the quality of this new spa.

“We are one of the only – if not the only – privately owned four star hotels on its own island anywhere in the UK so we need to continually build on what we have and impress our guests.“

It’s been hard work getting here, but it was worth it when the team got to test out the treatments. We enjoyed them so we’re sure our guests will. It’s another string to our bow and way of attracting more visitors and supporting local and regional tourism.”

Recent investment in green technology has also led to the hotel being awarded the AA Eco Hotel of the Year Award.
