Young rugby players learned about the property and construction industries at a special event organised by their team’s sponsor.

Under 15 and 18s girls teams from Sandal Girls Rugby Union Football Club visited team sponsor Taylor Wimpey’s Pipers Green development, near Wakefield. The young girls were taught about different roles at the development firm and were given a tour of the construction site. Andy Bevan, head coach at Sandal Girls Rugby Union Football Club, comments: “Our teams are very proud to be sponsored by Taylor Wimpey, so to be able to visit one of the developments and discover, not only what is involved in the home building process, but also what a woman’s role in the industry is, was very insightful for the girls.” The rugby club has a total of 18 teams for both boys and girls.
