Nearly 200 homes in Leeds without power due to unplanned outages

Bramhope, Rawdon and Horsforth have been affected, according to Northern Powergrid.

In LS18, 40 houses have been affected, with power not expected to return until 11.45am.

Power to 20 houses in LS19 is expected to return shortly before that.

In LS16, 120 homes have been affected, where the power is not expected to be back on until 3pm.

Each area has been hit by a similar problem.

"The power cut affecting your property has been caused by an unexpected problem with the cables or equipment that serve your area," Northern Powergrid said.

"Our team are working hard to restore your power as quickly as possible."
