TOP musicians who beat hundreds of hopefuls in a new competition have recorded a new album in Leeds.

The Trinity Sessions contest saw acts battle it out for the chance to record a charity album live in front of shoppers at Trinity Leeds.

The recording studio took over the shopping centre’s main atrium as Sifaka, Finola Daley Dee, Jack Haining and Malaika performed.

The five acts will also feature on the line up for Live at Leeds this weekend, performing a free gig at Trinity Kitchen on Saturday, May 2. Supporters can buy the album on a ‘pay as you feel’ basis – donating however much they feel – with money going to Martin House Children’s Hospice.
