Motorcyclist hurt in Leeds crash

A motorcyclist has been seriously injured after a crash in Garforth.

The man in his 50s collided with a car on the Old George roundabout just before 5pm on Monday evening.

He was riding a black Triumph motorbike and was rushed to Leeds General Infirmary.

Police confirmed that Lidgett Lane was closed to the Wakefield Road junction until 5.40pm.
