Police today said a woman who went missing from her home in north Leeds on Monday morning has been found and is safe and well.

A missing person appeal was launched yesterday to trace Glennys Scrivener, 58, who was last seen at her home in Adel just before 7am on Monday.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said today: “Glennys Scrivener, who was the subject of an earlier missing persons appeal, has now been found safe and well.

“We are very grateful to everyone who supported the appeals for information to trace her.”
