Mirfield sex attack followed racial abuse

A woman was sexually assaulted after two thugs hurled racial abuse at her.

The 38-year old woman was assaulted on Kitson Hill Road, Mirfield on January 6.

At around 10.30am, she was walking along Kitson Hill Road and was near to Slipper Lane when she was approached from behind by two men who shouted racial abuse at her.

One of the men then grabbed her as she turned around and put his hand down the woman's trousers before throwing her to the floor and kicking her.

Both men then ran away down Kitson Hill Road.

The victim was not seriously injured but attended hospital. She was left shaken by the incident and described the suspects as two white men.

One was around 5ft 6ins tall, slim and wearing a blue hat with flaps over the ears. He was also wearing a black glove.

The second man was shorter than the first, slim and was wearing a dark hooded top with the hood up.
