Men stabbed in attack by gang in cars

Two men have been knifed in Harehills in a late-night attack.

The pair, aged 22 and 23, were on Gledhow Terrace when they were assaulted by a group of men who were travelling in two cars at 12.30am on Tuesday morning.

Their injuries included knife wounds and are serious but not life-threatening.

The attack is believed to have been targeted.

A 33-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently in custody.

Detective Inspector Richard Holmes, of Leeds District CID, said:

“We are carrying out extensive enquiries into the incident and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed it or who has any information that could assist the investigation.”
