POLICE are appealing for infomation after around 20 people were involved in mass brawl involving outside a West Yorkshire pub.

Police were called to the Blue Bell pub at Cross Hill in Hemsworth near Wakefield at around 1.10am on Sunday.

Acting Insp Lee Carlson, of South East neighbourhood police team, said a group of around 20 people were involved in the fight when officers arrived at the scene.

A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault but was later released without charge.
