The men left with the cigarettes and cash and drove off in a silver Citroen Xsara Picasso towards Foundry Lane, near Harehills.

Police have released CCTV images to try and trace the men, who are both described as white, aged between 30 to 40 years old, with local accents.

Detective constable Phil Mayer, of Leeds District CID, said: “While both men have their faces covered throughout the robbery, we are hopeful that someone may recognise their clothing or recall seeing the vehicle involved around the time of the offence.”

The incident took place at around 10.20pm on Sunday, May 17.

Anyone with information can call Leeds District CID on 101.
