Man stabbed in Leeds street attack

A young man was left with stab wounds after an attack on a street in Leeds.

The victim was assaulted on Landseer Drive, Bramley, by a group of three men who fled the scene in a car.

The incident happened at 10.48am on Sunday, and saw the air ambulance called out.

However the 24-year-old man's injuries to the arm and leg were not life-threatening.

The men involved are thought to be known to each other.

Leeds District CID are continuing enquiries into the incident and anyone who witnessed it or who has any information that could assist the investigation is asked to contact officers at Elland Road via 101 quoting log number 654 of July 2 or call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
