Man rescued from River Aire in Leeds

A MAN was rescued by emergency services in Leeds city centre this morning.

Firefighters were called to the scene at Gotts Road just before 4am on Tuesday, November 10.
A West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said the man had fallen into the river and was rescued by crews.

He was left in the care of paramedics.

Crews from Leeds, Rothwell, Wakefield and Hunslet attended the scene.
