Man recovering in hospital after fall from bridge over M621 in Leeds

A man is recovering in hospital today after falling from a bridge over the M621 in Leeds.

Police closed part of the westbound carriageway yesterday afternoon to allow emergency services to work at the scene.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said today that the man was continuing to receive treatment in hospital.

His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, the spokesman said.
