Police say a man has gone missing from his Leeds home without vital medication, no money and little grasp of English.

Slovakian Igor Lakatos, 23, has been missing from his home in Harehills Lane, Harehills, since Wednesday, March 18.

Police said he has a serious medical condition which requires medication that he has not taken with him.

He speaks little or no English, has no phone or money and has no other family or friends in the country.

Det Insp Sean Duggan, of Leeds District CID, said: “Given Mr Lakatos does not have his medication with him and has no means or places he could stay, we are very concerned for safety.

“I would urgently like to hear from anyone who has seen him or has any information that could assist in tracing him.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Leeds District CID via 101.
