Man charged with rape of woman, 18, in Leeds

A man is due to appear in court today charged in connection with the rape of a woman in Leeds.

Mehdi Ghorbani, 37, has been charged with three counts of rape in relation to an incident involving an 18-year-old woman in the Woodhouse area of the city on Saturday, January 14. 

Ghorbani, of Elford Grove, Harehills, is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates' Court today.
