Man charged with murder after victim found seriously injured in Leeds house

A man has been charged with murder by detectives investigating the death of a man found seriously injured in a Leeds house.

Bartlomiej Dedek is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates' Court today.

The 34-year-old is accused of killing a man who died on Sunday.

The victim, who has not yet been named by police, was found inside a terraced house by officers called to Bexley Mount, Harehills, at around 1.40am.

No details have been released about the nature of his injuries or cause of death, but police said he had died a short time after officers arrived at the scene.

Detectives initially arrested four men and a woman on suspicion of murder.

Three of the men - aged 46, 50 and 51 - and the 40-year-old woman were all released without charge.
