Man charged with Leeds canal towpath attempted rape LATEST
A 27-year-old man is due to appear before magistrates today charged with attempted rape in connection with an incident where a woman was attacked on a Leeds canal towpath.
The suspected attack occured near to Whitehall Road bridge on Sunday evening. (June 17)
A 19-year-old man, from Armley, who was also arrested in connection with the incident has been released without charge.
