Man charged in connection with series of robberies across West Yorkshire

A MAN has been charged with handling stolen goods in connection with an investigation in to a series of robberies across West Yorkshire.

Zafar Iqbal, 39, of Clipstone Street, Bradford, has been charged with handling stolen property in relation to a robbery at a property in Rooks Close, Wyke, on 5 January.

He appeared at Bradford Magistrates Court today and is due to next appear at Bradford Magistrates Court on 8 February.

A 26-year-old man from Bradford, arrested on 7 January in connection with the robberies, has been released on bail.

West Yorkshire Police is investigating six robberies where high performance cars were reportedly stolen this week from addresses in Bradford, Leeds and Kirklees.
