The crash, which involved one car, happened shortly after 11.15pm at the Kirkstall Road junction with Bridge Road and Kirkstall Lane.
Kirkstall Road was partially blocked as an ambulance and three police cars attended the scene.
A West Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said no one was injured.
"One person, a man in his 40s, was arrested on suspicion of driving over the prescribed limit," she said.
"There was one car involved and no other injuries. The man was taken to hospital as a precaution but was not injured and has now been taken into custody."
The road reopened a short time after the car and debris was removed.
