Man arrested over alleged rape of a child in Leeds

Police have called off the search for a man who was wanted over the alleged rape of a child in Leeds after making an arrest.

The 30-year-old is due to be transported to Leeds after he handed himself in at Stoke Newington Police Station in London in the early hours of today.

It comes after the sex attack was reported on Saturday.

West Yorkshire Police said they are no longer seeking Mubarak Mohammed, who was the subject of an appeal for information yesterday.
