A 35-year-old man has been arrested and bailed after a man was found dead at a property in Chatsworth Place, Harrogate on Sunday.

Police were alerted by the ambulance service at around 11.45pm on Sunday. July 5, after reports of the sudden death of a man in his 30s at the Chatsworth Place property.

The man’s death is being treated as unexplained at this time and police enquiries are continuing at the scene.

A 35-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and has been released on police bail as enquiries continue.

The man has not yet been formally identified.
