Man, 34, charged with murder after body found in Leeds flat

A man has been charged with murder after a body was found at a flat in Leeds.

Police were called to a flat in Lanshaw Crescent, Belle Isle, at around 6.30pm on Thursday.

The victim, named locally as 41-year-old Robert Milner, was pronounced dead at the scene by officers.

And yesterday, (March 12) West Yorkshire Police confirmed the force has now charged a 34-year-old man with murder following the incident.

David Holgate, of Bodmin Road, Leeds, has been charged with murder and is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates court today. (March 13)
