This evening’s panel members are due to include the BBC’s Anna Doble, Buzzfeed’s Tom Philips and Greg Wright, deputy business editor at The Yorkshire Post.

Looking ahead to the free event, Greg said: “Leeds is a thriving digital hub, and The Yorkshire Post and Yorkshire Evening Post are the dominant media brands here.

“It’s really important to bang the drum about our fast growing digital sector, and stop the talent drain to London.

“Events like the Leeds Digital Festival show you can have a rewarding career in the digital and creative sectors in our region.
