Main road in Leeds closed after man scales roof of building
Police were forced to close part of Roundhay Road this morning after a man climbed onto a roof.
He was seen on top of the Dulux Decorator Centre near Sheepscar Interchange just before 6am and members of the public called police to report their concerns for his welfare.
A police cordon was erected around the area and after a stand-off lasting several hours, he was safely taken down from the building and arrested before 10am and the road re-opened.
