The event, hosted by The Conservation Volunteers (TCV), will feature secret conker fairies hidden around the garden, Santa in his
grotto and lights and
candles to light up a tableau
of the Twelve Days of Christmas.

In the decorated barn at the centre, spicy mulled juice and home-made cake will be on offer for adults courtesy of the community cafe.

There may also be a few stocking fillers on offer.

Lisa Cockerton from Friends of Hollybush said: “We love to give children and families a reason to get out and explore in the dark. Many city children are kept indoors these days and they love the adventures to be found in our garden.”

The garden will be open from 5-8pm and tickets cost £5, the proceeds of which will go to the Roundhouse Fund.
